Rec 4 Apocalypse Movie

Rec 3 hasn't been released yet, but the movie Rec 4 is already planned. If Rec 3 is an origin story, Rec 4 will actually be a direct prequel to Rec 2. This time around those nasty zombies will find a way to escape from quarantine and the film will end the saga with the infection spreading to unknown proportions. That's why this new Rec sequel is titled Rec 4 Apocalypse. Looks like the world is going to be overrun by those scary zombies, the final Apocalypse will be upon us, the end of mankind...

The movie Rec 4 Apocalypse is set to be released in 2012. Director Jaume Balaguero will helm the project.

I guess Rec 4 will show how the zombies manage to break out and spread into the city, but I doubt we'll get to really see the infection spreading around the world (well, a World War Z movie is under works anyway). Still, the movie Rec 4 promises to be damn intense. Let's pray for mankind!
